Toshiba have had a philosophy of designing and supplying highly efficient, scale-able systems in the UK for well over 20 years with one huge advantage over their competitors.
Their systems have always been backwards compatible which means that when Siebert customers outgrow their current Toshiba system or want to take advantage of new facilities available on newer models; they have been able to re-use a huge amount of system hardware from their old system.
This has included both handsets and circuit board interfaces which are generally some of the most expensive components of any system and we have still have customers today who are on to their 3rd or even 4th incarnation of Toshiba systems and who have repeatedly reutilised system-critical components to maximise the value of their investment in their telecoms technology.
Toshiba’s competitors seem to build in obsolence into their systems and expect their customers to throw their systems away if they want to update. Not so Toshiba. Their unique mix of innovation, reliability and backwards compatibility has been a major contributor to enabling us to build our business and enjoy the confidence of so many Scottish customers for almost 20 years.
