Siebert Customers can Try before they Buy
Scottish telecommunications specialists Siebert Telecom Solutions have created linked, state of the art demonstration suites in their Aberdeen and Glasgow offices.
But the facilities don’t just showcase the state of the art Avaya and Toshiba systems which Siebert have supplied for over 19 years.
Harry Smith is Technical Manager at Siebert and has been involved in the development of the demonstration suites since the initial design stage.
‘We didn’t want to simply set up a room so customers could just see bells ringing and lights flashing.
‘We have built an infrastructure which allows us to set up any configuration of system with any combination of features so that customers can actually use the systems and see for themselves that the solutions we have designed for them really do the job.
The systems can be configured very quickly to demonstrate facilities for small, medium and large companies.
‘These Avaya and Toshiba systems are market leaders because they combine a huge set of features with real simplicity and ease of use and the best way for us to put that across is to get the customers to actually use the systems.’
The demonstration suites in Glasgow and Aberdeen are also linked together using the latest Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) and this is the telecoms industry’s hottest topic providing unlimited free calls between offices.
Harry Smith continues ‘VOIP isn’t rocket science. Many of our competitors seem to suggest that it is highly complex and tricky to deploy but in many respects it is a simple process which a few years ago was available only to the biggest companies. Everyone has broadband in the office and in the home now so why not use it to have free calls between your offices or when you are working from home.
